Annual Maintenance for Tankless & Tank Water Heaters
TANKLESS SYSTEMS
Annual maintenance for tankless water heaters will include the following:
- Flushing of the water heater to remove sediment and calcium from the heat exchanger
- Cleaning of the inlet filters
- Cleaning of the flame sensor
- Inspection of the T&P valve
- Inspect and clean heat exchanger - Semi-annual
- Inspection and cleaning of water heater venting
- Make recommendations for any repairs needed
TANK SYSTEMS
Annual maintenance for tank water heaters will include the following:
- Flushing of the water heater tank to remove sediment and mineral deposits
- Inspection of the anode rod
- Cleaning of the flame arrestor
- Cleaning of the flame sensor
- Inspect thermopile or thermocouple
- Inspection of the T&P valve
- Detail flame plate
- Make recommendations for any repairs needed
